Wills Park Youth Baseball
Wills Park is establishing guidelines for determining when the cold weather should prevent baseball activities. This is especially important for young arms and out-of-shape arms in the beginning of the season. If the “feels like” temperature is 40 degrees F. or below, you should not have your players out on the field. Additionally, the fields at Wills Park tend to be particulary chilly when wind is present. These temperatures are too cold for players and more importantly their arms. There is also the risk that they can damage certain types of expensive baseball bats.
